Onboarding Templates

Onboarding Templates allow you to create reusable sets of tasks that can be applied to new employee onboardings, ensuring consistency and saving setup time.

Viewing Templates

  • Navigate to People > Onboardings and access the templates section.
  • View all existing templates with their names and task counts.

Creating a Template

  • Click Create Template to start building a new onboarding template.
  • Give the template a descriptive name (e.g., "Engineering Team Onboarding", "Sales Department Setup").
  • Add tasks to the template, specifying:
    • Task title and description.
    • Task assignee role (new hire, manager, HR, IT, etc.).
    • Expected duration or due date offset.
    • Task priority and order.
  • Save the template for future use.

Editing Templates

  • Select an existing template to view its tasks.
  • Add, remove, or modify tasks within the template.
  • Changes to templates do not affect onboardings that have already been started using the previous version.

Using Templates

  • When starting a new onboarding, select a template to automatically populate the task list.
  • You can customize the tasks after applying the template to suit specific needs.
  • Templates help maintain a standardized onboarding process across the organization.
