Initial Leave Quota Setup

When a new employee joins, the HR team must ensure that leave quotas are properly set up in the system. This process establishes the employee’s eligibility to apply for different types of leave from the very beginning of their employment.

HR Tasks for New Employees

  • Navigate to Edit Employee Details > HR Information tab.
  • Assign appropriate leave quotas for the new employee as per their employment type.
  • Configure leave quota allocations in line with the company’s leave policy, including annual leave, sick leave, and any special leave categories.
  • Verify that the carry-forward rules, accrual methods, and probationary restrictions (if applicable) are correctly set.
  • Confirm that the employee can view their updated leave quota in the employee portal.
