Leave Approver Assignment

Assigning leave approvers ensures that every leave request follows the correct chain of command and is reviewed by the appropriate authority. Proper configuration of approvers and workflows helps maintain accountability, prevents delays, and aligns with the company’s leave policy.

  • Assign Approvers in Employee Profile: HR can navigate to Edit Employee Details > HR Information tab to designate approvers for each employee.
  • Approval Hierarchy Setup: Configure multi-level approval chains (e.g., reporting manager → department head → HR) based on organizational requirements.
  • Workflow Flexibility: Define different workflows for various leave types (e.g., medical leave requiring HR verification, annual leave requiring only manager approval).
